The Early Church Fathers is a 38-volume collection of
the most significant writings from the first 800 years of the
Church. Edited by Phillip Schaff, this Magnum Opus
features 166 authors from the time of the death of the Apostles
to the eighth century AD. Vast in scope, with 18,000 pages, and
nearly 50,000 footnotes.
These writings are divided into three series, Ante-Nicene
(ANF), Nicene and Post-Nicene Series I (NPNF1),
and Nicene and Post-Nicene Series II (NPNF2). This CROSS
version does not include the book indexes of each volume and
does not include Volume 10 of the Ante-Nicene Series,
which consists entirely of Bibliographic Synopsis and a General
Index.
